POSH Act Compliance: What the Law Requires

The Sexual Harassment of Women at Workplace (Prevention, Prohibition and Redressal) Act, 2013 outlines the following key responsibilities for every employer:

Draft and implement a POSH-compliant policy
Constitute an Internal Committee (IC) at each office/branch
Appoint an External Member on the IC
Organise regular training and sensitisation for employees and IC members
Display mandatory POSH notices at prominent places
Maintain proper documentation of complaints and proceedings
Submit Annual Report of IC to the District Officer
